I have set up this blog for ds106. I hope that by signing up for this massively open online course (MOOC) about digital storytelling that I will accomplish the course objectives:

  • Develop skills in using technology as a tool for networking, sharing, narrating, and creative self-expression
  • Frame a digital identity wherein you become both a practitioner in and interrogator of various new modes of networking
  • Critically examine the digital landscape of communication technologies as emergent narrative forms and genres

Over the next 15 weeks we’ll be “experimenting with your own digital platform for storytelling, as well as placing yourself within a larger narrative of networked conversation on the internet at large.”

If I can create anything even close to the examples I have seen so far, I’ll be thrilled!
